The Annual Quiz Against
Want 2008 on Fri 21st Nov. at the Jack Ryder
Room, MCG
Firstly we have been
joined by our friends at The E Team to act as
co-organiser and major sponsor. As in previous years, the winning
table still wins the ten "Luxury packages for two at a holiday
destination in Victoria." but many other valuable prizes will be up
for grabs. Once again
author, comedienne and all round talent Jane Clifton will host the
evening and again we look forward to enjoying our improved gourmet
supper.
Of course the fun of the evening does not overshadow raising
significant funds for Oxfam's important work.
Can you contribute a prize?
Maybe you have a professional service to donate or could
convince your boss
to chip in something that could be listed as a silent auction. Or
you might
be a craftsperson and would like those less fortunate than yourself
to
benefit from your handiwork. Maybe you have a friend or relative
who runs a
B & B and could put in a good word for Oxfam.

Future communication
I am pleased that we have found the support to minimise my role as
the yearsgo on. Part of this is handing over communication to
Craig Reardon and Heidi Richards for this year so you may hear from
them with regards any details of the quiz.

The 2007 Quiz was another
big success, raising nearly $24,000 for Oxfam Projects and special
thanks to the wonderful ANZ team of volunteers who made it all
possible.
